Mount Vernon Cardiology is committed to providing high quality care to all patients.  We are participating providers with most insurance plans and will submit a claim to your insurance company for payment.  We will work with your insurance company to ensure that you receive all benefits due to you.   However, most insurance plans do not pay 100% of the claim and the unpaid, allowable amount will be become patient responsible. 

Patients who have medical insurance should be aware that professional services are rendered and charged to the patient, not to the insurance company.  It is your obligation to know the terms of your insurance coverage and to provide the practice with all the information necessary to process a claim.

Many insurance plans also have co-payments and/or deductibles.  These should be paid at the time of service.  We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. 

Patients who do not have insurance are expected to pay at the time of service.  If necessary our billing staff can work with you to make payment arrangements or to assist you in applying for available assistance programs.
